Leading the market, Honda maintained its dominant position for the 50th consecutive year, capturing 32% of the global market share with 19.4 million units sold, marking a 6% increase from the previous year.
Notably, Honda experienced significant growth in Bosnia (+127.9%), Albania (+112%), and Ukraine (+100.8%).
NO2. Hero MotoCorp
Indian motorcycle manufacturer Hero MotoCorp secured the second spot with 5.9 million units sold, reflecting a 6.9% rise. The company’s expansion was particularly strong in Costa Rica (+184%), Nigeria (+184%), and Sri Lanka (+54.3%).
This growth was driven by increased sales of mid-range models like the “Xtreme 125R,” which saw a 53% surge, offsetting weaker sales in entry-level segments.

Yamaha claimed third place with 4.6 million units sold, a 4.2% uptick. The brand saw remarkable growth in Mongolia (+268.9%), Turkey (+87.3%), and Romania (+86.9%).

The Chines Motorcycle Manufacturer, Electric vehicle specialist Yadea ranked fourth, selling 4.3 million units despite a 13% decline, with notable market expansion in Cambodia, Pakistan, and Moldova.

TVS Motor, another Indian manufacturer, secured fifth place with 3.7 million units sold, a 12.6% increase. The company’s growth was prominent in Sri Lanka, Germany, and Ukraine.

Bajaj Auto followed in sixth with 3.1 million units sold, marking a 9.3% rise. Strong domestic performance and expanding markets in South Africa (+227%), Brazil (+168%), and Nigeria (+76.5%) contributed to this growth.

Suzuki occupied the seventh position with 2 million units sold, a 6.1% increase.
NO8. Italika
Mexican brand Italika experienced the fastest growth among the top manufacturers, with sales rising by 35.8% to 1.3 million units, securing the eighth spot.
NO9. Zongshen
The Chinese Motorcycle manufacturer Zongshen ranked ninth with 1 million units sold, a 3.4% increase.
NO10. Royal Enfield
Rounding out the top ten, Royal Enfield sold 948,000 units, reflecting a 5.1% growth.
This was driven by strong sales of higher-capacity models like the Himalayan and Interceptor 650, which saw over a 36% increase, particularly among urban consumers.
